The route to West McMillan Spire is a strenuous Class 3 and involved exposed scrambling. Gear and experience recommended.

Getting There

From Marblemount follow the North Cascades Highway (State Route 20) east for 14 miles to Newhalem. Take a left onto Newhalem Creek Road and turn left when you reach a T-junction. Take your next right and continue to the Goodell Creek campground.
