The Shellrock Pass trail has not been maintained for 25 years. It is possible to follow it with good navigational skills and advance planning. While the trail itself is only 4 miles, it does not have a trailhead of its own and must be accessed via Robinson Creek (21.5 miles) or Monument Creek (16 miles).
