Enjoy a family friendly like to a sweet mountain lake surrounded by lovely meadow. There are two ways to access this lake, but the route described here is shorter.

There are two trails that leave from the trailhead. The Crystal Lake Trail begins heading roughly south, with a brief climb up to ridge. After dropping over the ridge, the trail continues throughs woods, mostly at a gentle grade downward, until reaching the lake after 2.2 miles. Keep left at the junction to follow the short spur trail toward the lake.

Watch for tadpoles and frogs in the lake and the in the little stream around it.
